A Pox on thee Vilainous Wind!

The Wind seems to have it in for photographers.  Seriously, every time I raise the camera the wind starts blowing.  I put it down and it is calm.  I pick it up again and it starts blowing.  I swear it KNOWS my intentions and wants to foil my every attempt.  This morning it was all frosty and beautifull!  I went out there set up the tripod and it was all still and quiet and covered in mini icicles.  The moment I actually get the camera focused on an ice-laden branch the wind blows so now it's moved slightly and is out of focus.  Then the wind waits smugly while I refocus and get set to press the button again, and right on cue it blows.  GAHHHRRG!!! I don't know how long I stood there attempting to capture the beauty, but in the end all the happened was that my mood was nolonger beautifull as I stood on the lawn cursing the wind.  I got not a single good picture.   and spent so much time attempting to get the one branch that meanwhile all the crystaline grass that I also wanted to capture melted with the rising sun.  I finally ran for cover when it started raining big icey blobs on my back.  
Grr.  Arg.
